INDICATIONS:

 

• Facilitate endotracheal intubation by paralysis
• Facilitate management of patients undergoing mechanical ventilation

 

DOSAGE:

ADULT:

 

• 0.6 mg/kg IV/IO; max 100 mg bolus ***See Dosing Chart***

 

PEDIATRIC:

 

• Not Approved

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

 

• Use caution in patients with known significant hepatic disease, pulmonary hypertension, and valvular heart disease

• Hypersensitivity
